About the Program

Who we are and what we teach.

01What is Accelerain?

Accelerain is an enterprise sales training and coaching firm founded by top 1% performers from Corporate Executive Board (now Gartner), Morgan Stanley, McKinsey, and Citigroup. We teach B2B teams the strategies, tactics, and execution patterns of elite sellers across 22 training areas — and we're a 5x Philadelphia100 honoree for growth.

02Who actually delivers the training?

Practitioners who carried a number — not career trainers reading from a certified deck. Our founders and trainers ranked among the top revenue generators at their former firms, and they teach the same playbook that made them the top 1%.

03Who leads Accelerain Training?

Accelerain is led by founder and CEO Andrew Frank. Andrew brings deep financial-markets experience from Morgan Stanley and BMO Capital Markets, along with degrees from Brown University and UCLA Anderson. A five-time Philadelphia100 winner — recognizing the region's 100 fastest-growing companies — he builds Accelerain the way he builds teams: around the people who outperform. That practitioner's read on what elite performance looks like shapes how every Accelerain program is designed and delivered.

04What is a Renaissance Seller?

A Renaissance Seller is a salesperson equipped to navigate every sales situation, every prospect, and every stage of the deal. They surface what matters, reduce resistance, build conviction, and guide opportunities forward naturally. Building Renaissance Sellers is the goal of every Accelerain engagement.

05What makes Accelerain different from other sales training companies?

Three things. First, it's practitioner-led — you learn from people who were top 1% sellers, not franchise trainers. Second, it's customized — you choose from 22 training areas instead of buying one fixed methodology. Third, it's embedded — we shadow live calls before designing anything, and 1:1 coaching afterward turns the framework into Monday-morning behavior.

06What are the 22 training areas?

They span three groups. Core Selling: consultative sale, discovery calls, piquing interest early, question-based selling, objection handling, email follow-up, and generating next steps. Closing & Negotiation: enterprise value selling, negotiation, closing strategies, business cases, overcoming status quo, stalled deals, and dark prospects. Stakeholders & Growth: consensus, multithreading, champion enablement, procurement navigation, cross-selling, renewals and expansion, competitive displacement, and special situations.

07Who is the training for?

B2B teams selling complex deals — SDRs, account executives, and sales leadership. We run dedicated programs for SaaS, technology, financial services, private equity portfolio companies, wealth management, healthcare, manufacturing, and professional services.

08How is the program customized to our team?

Through a three-step process: Diagnose — we shadow live calls and pinpoint where conviction breaks down; Design — we build a tailored framework across the training areas you choose; Embed — 1:1 coaching turns the framework into repeatable behavior.

09Do you deliver training on-site?

Yes — on-site delivery is our default because embedding happens best in the field. We train on-site in Philadelphia, New York, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, Austin, Los Angeles, Miami, and anywhere in the U.S. your team sits. Virtual delivery is available for distributed teams.

10When are we not the right fit?

If your sale is transactional with a cycle measured in days, if you sell B2C, or if you're looking for a one-off motivational keynote, our program is more than you need. Accelerain is built for complex B2B selling where deals involve multiple stakeholders and real money — and where behavior change, not a pep talk, moves the number.

Results & Methodology

What changes — and why it sticks.

What results can we expect from the training?

Clients report a 30% improvement in close rates, a 25–80% increase in next steps generated, 15–30% faster sales cycles, and win rates up 38% within two quarters of rollout. Consultative motions have produced 2x larger average deal sizes. And 92% of trained reps are still using the system a year later.

How fast will we see results?

Reps typically apply the framework on live deals within 30 days of kickoff. Leading indicators — next steps generated, discovery quality, multithreaded deals — move first; close rates and cycle times follow within one to two quarters.

What sales methodology do you teach?

The Renaissance Seller system — our own framework built from what top 1% sellers actually do. Every skill is taught three ways: the strategy behind it, the tactics that work, and the execution patterns we drill until they're repeatable. It follows the buyer's real decision arc rather than forcing one rigid methodology onto every deal.

Does sales training actually stick?

Most training doesn't — the industry's open secret is that workshop content fades within weeks. That's why embedding is a formal phase of our program: live-call shadowing, 1:1 coaching, and reinforcement after the workshop. It's also why 92% of our trained reps still use the system a year later.

What is the difference between sales training and sales coaching?

Training teaches the framework — the concepts, strategies, and tactics. Coaching applies it to real deals, one rep at a time, until it becomes habit. Accelerain does both: workshops build the shared language, and 1:1 coaching makes it stick. Programs that stop at training are why most sales training fails.

Will this replace our existing methodology like MEDDICC or Challenger?

No — it layers on top. Qualification frameworks like MEDDICC tell you what to know about a deal; our training builds the conversational skill to actually get it. Teams running MEDDICC, Challenger, or Sandler keep their process and use Accelerain to sharpen the execution inside it.

Logistics & Pricing

Formats, group sizes, and cost.

How much does sales training cost?

Engagements are scoped by team size, the training areas you choose, delivery depth, and format — from a 30-minute sprint to two-day immersions with ongoing 1:1 coaching. For context, workshop-based programs across the industry typically run $1,000–$3,000 per participant, with enterprise engagements higher. We price transparently on your strategy call, with no commitment to scope it.

What delivery formats do you offer?

Three depths — customized concepts (frameworks and playbooks tailored to your motion), in-depth training (concepts plus live workshops and reinforcement), and training plus 1:1s (everything, plus individual shadowing and coaching). Time formats range from a 30-minute sprint to half-day, one-day, and two-day programs.

How large can the training group be?

Programs start at around five reps and scale to full sales organizations. Workshop cohorts are kept small enough for live practice and role-play; larger teams are trained in waves so every rep gets repetitions, not just slides.

How do you measure training ROI?

Against a baseline we capture at diagnosis: close rate, sales cycle length, next-step generation rate, average deal size, and multithreading depth. Because we shadow live calls before designing the program, before-and-after comparison is built in rather than bolted on.
